Strengths:
               · He has a nice sense of hearing and a very light sleep, disturbed by the softest strange sound, so he's a really good vigilant.
               · His ability to memorize things is above average. However, his comprehension of such things is nowhere as good.
               · He was taught to read and write, only in his country's tongue though.
               · With a golden tongue, quick reflexes and a vivid imagination, he is able to slip away from dangerous situations.

Weaknesses:
               · He has no former education in most aspects of life. Aside from everything related to music, all his knowledge is merely practical.
               · He is extremely scared of sustaining injuries on his hands or ears, acting cowardly if put in a situation of real danger. He would never hold a gun out of fear.
               · He was never trained to fight, and his skills are clumsy at best.

Personality: Bright and cheery, he takes all the tasks assigned head on with a big smile. He likes to drink, play music, and have fun, but never gets past the tipsy point, because he's afraid to do something crazy. Worrying about mundane issues when tomorrow you could be dead makes no sense to him, so if he has a problem and can solve it, he just learns to live with it. Maybe because of that, he doesn't know how to react to other people's issues, and slips away awkwardly when someone tries to have a deep feelings talk with him. The few times he's tried to help, his tips had ended being completely useless and in a few cases making his interlocutors mad, so he prefers to stay away from that kind of bonds,

He doesn't take anything too seriously, and never thinks of the future farther than his next meal. When faced with a change, even a shocking one, he quickly shrugs it away and moves on. That also means he gives up too quickly, and barely never fights for what he believes in, except if it's related to music. Since he's a slave and his owner ordered him to be a good boy, he'll ultimately never say 'no' to one of the free men's orders, unless he's really really really against the idea, but even so he'll try to sneak away rather than a direct confrontation.

History: He is the son of a musician, slave to a rich jewel merchant of Sacrima who keeps a small chamber orchestra. The child was taught in basic house labors, and since his owner was a rather lax man, he allowed Giacomo to be taught music. He learned to read partitures and texts, to sing, and to play violin and piano, and after a lot of bugging, one of the other musicians agreed to teach him to play guitar, even when the orchestra had no need for such an instrument. When he turned 19, his owner decided to send him to the Goldecrux ship to seek glory for his family, armed with a nice sable that rusted away the first month and some good clothes who were either sold or torn up and completely unrecognizable soon after. His mother gifted him one of her first violins as a departure gift, and he sold some of his best clothes as soon as he could to buy a guitar. Those two things are probably the only possessions he takes real care of. In one of his first ship fights he managed to steal a tin whistle, and practices real hard to get used to the instrument. Everytime they stop in a tavern, he makes sure to earn a few bucks by playing to the drunk sailors.

Dislikes:
               · Extreme cold, because his articulations feel numb.
               · Being in cooking labour.

Relationships:
               · Lucia de Felice: His mother, a slave, and violin player since she was very young. His father is unknown, probably a stable boy, or maybe other of the musicians.
               · Andrej Leka: His owner, a jewel merchant who amassed enough money to keep all kinds of extravagances in his mansion. He was never a caring man, but he is kind to a point. As long as they do the tasks they are assigned and don't give him unnecessary trouble, the slaves under his command are able to live a nice, comfortable life.

Other information:
               · The earring he wears was given to him by his owner in case he needed to pay a ransom someday. The rest were stolen to enemies after a fight or to drunk passed out patrons who pissed him while they were still awake. He sells most of the pieces he gets that way, but keeps the nicer-looking ones for himself.
               · The vest is also a stolen coat, ripped to make it shorter and sleeveless.
               · His hair was initially light brown, but the extended exposure to sun turned it gingerish.
               · He gets blinded by strong lights easily, since his eyes are very light.
